The most delicate part of Resham India is the process of weaving and we are from city which renowned the world for its rich textile heritage and this city is also known as one of the oldest living city in planet earth. Kashi (Varanasi, Banarasi and many more names) is known as some of the finest handicrafts. The most renowned crafts of this city is "silk weaving". It is preferred, not only India but all across the world for its best handcraftsmanship. This city is located on the bank of River Ganga which has two tributaries in the city, Varuna and Assi. Hence the name Varanasi (One of the sacred city of ancient India).

Our Journey Start From

          Resham India established in the year 1994, our company has bagged national award and earned world-wide acclaim for its high quality range that is embellished with intricate thread works, including resham and zari work. We are the manufacturer- wholesaler and has gained immense acknowledgment and a respected place in the market over the last 30 years.

          We give maximum importance to the quality of the products that we offer and thus conduct diverse quality tests likely anti-shrinkage, durability and colour fastness that add the height of excellence in our work. We are listed with the amidst and eminent suppliers of Banaras(India) and supplying in domestic market and have been serving markets with the premium products since inception and satisfying all sorts of customer needs and demands. Beautiful Momemt

        The Queen Mother of Britain visited us in 1959 and we have the photographs to prove it. Pulling out old photos with dog ears and yellowed over the years, we find photos with the father of Jigme Sigme Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan. The second time, when we met the eldest son of Saudi King Bin Abdul, we presented him a precious weave in genuine Gold Zari, which featured the name of the store. Our store has played host to celebrities like Tina Turner, Ismail Merchant and many more Hollywood biggies. We have many stories to tell, but the best stories are told in bright and sweet colors opposite the looms, where weavers sit in bright light and weave their magic onto the fabric, not sure what the future holds; But for now, the loom is clicking and rattling, telling a new story, that someday we will tell to you friends who come to visit it.

Most Peaceful Moment

       When we were invited by the Oxford College of Arts and Science to Oxford where for 10 days, we set up looms and demonstrated the art of weaving.

       The people there were very eager; we were allowed to sell our clothes. I priced it at £10 and some people asked me, "Is it real Silk?" Then we realized how much we were underselling our creations, and immediately raised it to £20, at which point people swiftly bought them up and raved. We were really overwhelmed though, when during the trip we visited the Victoria and Albert Museum and saw three of my dresses put on display! It brought tears to my eyes.
